It is not often you find really unbelievable articles, at least that are the same ol’ thing in a different way. But that isn’t the only thing that can make a blog boring. The fact that every post on a blog is always in the same format as the last 14 posts. Each one looks the same as the last, just different text or images. Look at this site for example. All my posts here are within the same 560 pixels wide area, and use the same style. It can get boring, which is partly why I am continuously re-designing, and changing the look of the site. I know that having consistency is good for many important reasons, but what would be so wrong with a completely different style, theme, layout, colors and design as a whole, each time I made a new blog post?
Paddy Donnelly posted this truly inspiring, and creatively insightful article, which you can tell just by how many people are talking about it. It was posted not even 6 hours ago, and it already has nearly 300 comments at the time of writing this, and it has been re-tweeted by so many people. When there’s that much buzz about something going on you know it has to be something good. It is one of the coolest, and most inspiring articles on design and blogging that I’ve ever read. It will make your mouth water with the delicious visually graphical goodness, or something like that.
I felt as though it was telling a story by using different scenes with images and typography design elements in order to help convey the message. Like most things in life though, not everyone likes the same stories. Go check it out, it is not to be missed.

I recently came to learn how useful using the excerpt feature that is built into Wordpress. You can use excerpts if you want to show a short blurb for each post on your blog’s homepage, which I have been wanting to do on Tweeaks for a long time now I just didn’t know how to do it. Since I was doing some layout modifications, and tweaks FINALLY, I figured I should find out how to use excerpts, and I am happy I did. It’s so easy
