I recently found myself becoming much more interested in improving my design skills, more interested than ever before, too, which I didn’t think was possible, and because of this growing interest I have been seeking out all sorts of information that has to do with web and graphic design improvement, and overall knowledge and understanding for what good, quality design really is.
I have always thought of myself as a skilled designer, but only in my world. I know the truth is I still have endless amounts to learn, since I am constantly reminded everyday of how little I know because of all the design blogs and websites I visit daily. I am envious of the people that work for the website networks of Envato, or Fuel Brand, and those that run the several dozens of other amazing design blogs like, Walter Apai from WebDesigner Depot, Jacob Cass from Just Creative Design, or Nick La with Web DesignerWall and his other websites, just to name a few.
I am more motivated to get to their level because of this, and now I’m pushing myself to learn as much about all areas of design as I can, as quickly as I can. I feel like I’ve been sitting around doing practically nothing to progress as a designer, while everyone else passed me by, even though the fact is that I have never stopped trying to learn as much as I can. It just seems like I blinked and know nothing in comparison to designers of today.
Now I am doing all I can to expand my knowledge of all aspects of design, and this post is my steps to learning all I can about logo design. I have never really played much with Adobe Illustrator until yesterday when I made that Photoshop feather design above.

Everyone gets sick of all the thousands of advertisements seen on the internet, on just about every website you visit, at any given time. Some advertisements are so annoying and sometimes you just want them gone. You may be one of the 58 million Firefox users that have installed the extension,
I recently came to learn how useful using the excerpt feature that is built into Wordpress. You can use excerpts if you want to show a short blurb for each post on your blog’s homepage, which I have been wanting to do on Tweeaks for a long time now I just didn’t know how to do it. Since I was doing some layout modifications, and tweaks FINALLY, I figured I should find out how to use excerpts, and I am happy I did. It’s so easy
