My Experience As A Volunteer At Wordcamp Boston (with Session Slides) #wcbos

Now that it’s over I wanted to write about how great Wordcamp Boston was. Check out #wcbos or #bestwordcampever if you need more proof. Or you can relive it on the live blog. I first found out about it a couple weeks before the tickets went on sale, and I immediately wanted to go. The next thing I heard was that tickets were sold out….bummer. I didn’t even know they went on sale and they were already gone. Luckily I happened to see they still needed volunteers, which I was willing to settle for even though I wouldn’t be able to see and do everything I wanted when I wanted, and I would have to do work. I just wanted to be apart of it, and I was one of those chosen to volunteer so I would be able to go after all

It took some trial and error but I eventually managed to figure out how to get it working. gimp10 10 Amazing GIMP Sig Tutorials For Advanced Users Okay all you people that use GIMP to make graphics and other image manipulations. This post is for you. I found what I beleive to be 10 amazing sig tutorials to help you learn some more techniques for making graphics with GIMP and to can improve your design skills. I have never actually used GIMP myself, but I can tell from looking at these tutorials that they are worth trying out.

If you feel the one’s I have posted here aren’t that great, you should check out MKmaster’s list of 5 more GIMP sig tutorials, because he is a GIMP user and would know of better tutorials than I would.

These are some more advanced tutorials, but they should be easy enough to follow. I wanted to cater to a wider audience of people rather than post tutorials, and resources exclusively for Photoshop users. I’m sure you will learn something from doing a few of these tutorials.
