• My Experience As A Volunteer At Wordcamp Boston (with Session Slides) #wcbos

Wordcamp Boston 2010Now that it’s over I wanted to write about how great Wordcamp Boston was. Check out #wcbos or #bestwordcampever if you need more proof. Or you can relive it on the live blog. I first found out about it a couple weeks before the tickets went on sale, and I immediately wanted to go. The next thing I heard was that tickets were sold out….bummer. I didn’t even know they went on sale and they were already gone. Luckily I happened to see they still needed volunteers, which I was willing to settle for even though I wouldn’t be able to see and do everything I wanted when I wanted, and I would have to do work. I just wanted to be apart of it, and I was one of those chosen to volunteer so I would be able to go after all

It’s time for another dose of design inspiration. I think it’s necessary for designers to look at others work often to help expanding the imagination of creativity. It opens you up to more ideas and things that you wouldn’t normally even think of or consider doing yourself. I think my favorite type graphic art is photo manipulation because it is one of the most creative forms of art I’ve ever seen, and it requires an extreme amount of skill to do effectively

That doesn’t include the 8+ sub-folders, and sub-sub-folders full that also have a ton of photos as well. tn-onewayI am known to take pictures while I’m driving. I used to drive constantly, and everywhere and anywhere. I would sometimes even go out driving just to take pictures of things I drove by. I still do drive and take pictures quite often, just not nearly as much.

Is it safe?
You may be thinking that’s stupid and how that’s not safe to do, and I agree completely. It takes a great deal of coordination, and ability to multitask, plus hours of practice. You could asked anyone who knows me, and has been in the car while I do it, and they would agree that I am a surprisingly safe and competent driver when taking pictures at the same time.
