Wordcamp Boston 2010Now that it’s over I wanted to write about how great Wordcamp Boston was. Check out #wcbos or #bestwordcampever if you need more proof. Or you can relive it on the live blog. I first found out about it a couple weeks before the tickets went on sale, and I immediately wanted to go. The next thing I heard was that tickets were sold out….bummer. I didn’t even know they went on sale and they were already gone. Luckily I happened to see they still needed volunteers, which I was willing to settle for even though I wouldn’t be able to see and do everything I wanted when I wanted, and I would have to do work. I just wanted to be apart of it, and I was one of those chosen to volunteer so I would be able to go after all

The whole weekend really was basically nothing more than ordinary as far as birthday weekends go. It’s not like I couldn’t find stuff to do, I just wanted to do what I do, and it made me depressed.

How To Speed Up Your Computer Start Up

speedpcThis is a really really old blog post I made way back when I started doing anything that involved computers. I mean so old that I originally posted this on my Myspace blog, and then again on Tweeaks before it was hacked. It can help you learn how to remove items that load when your computer starts up, which can slow down the startup process. The more things you have running, the slower it will be.

This is a great list of tutorials, links, resources and more from 2008 that I found useful. I haven’t checked the links, so I apologize if any are broken or don’t go to the correct page anymore. These are ancient links in comparison to how much the internet has changed since I first posted this list
